Probably Stolen Wiki

Sources & Editorial Policy

An independent fan resource. Sources were checked on 2026-11-03; guides are updated when official notes change.

Four kinds of evidence

The Steam store listing and the developer's announcements on the Steam news feed are primary sources for release facts, pricing, features and patch changes. Media guides (IGN, Into Indie Games, GameSpew, Tpose Gaming, India Times, Destructoid) are attributed secondary evidence. Community wikis (Wikily, the community-run probablystolenwiki.com) are community-edited. Steam discussion threads and Reddit describe individual experiences.

How disputes are handled

When sources disagree, the guide shows both positions instead of picking one — for example, ending counts (Wikily lists 15; India Times counts 17) and the exact difficulty tied to the rarest achievement. Claims that only one source makes are marked “not yet verified” inline.

Numbers this site will not invent

No item prices, achievement names, ending triggers, NPC roles or sales figures appear without a source. Where the game exposes numbers only inside a run (most item values), the guides say the value is run-specific rather than quoting one.

Snapshot dating

All sources were read on 2026-11-03. Steam review scores, player counts, sales milestones and patch versions are from that snapshot and will drift as the game updates. The launch discount and Supporter Edition pricing carry their own end dates in the guides that cite them.
