Probably Stolen released October 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM CET / 9:00 AM EDT / 6:00 AM PDT, for Windows PC only, at $19.99 US list with a 10% launch discount to $17.99 that ends November 11. The Steam listing carries no Mac or Linux builds and no console announcements. Everything below is from the store data and the developer's own release announcements, read on 2026-11-03.
Release date and launch details
Questing Goose Studio (developer) and tinyBuild (publisher) launched 1.0 on October 28, 2026. The global release-times post confirms the hour and the regional pricing table below. The free Demo — up since September 14, 2026 — was retired when 1.0 went live: Demo saves carried over, but the developer strongly recommended starting fresh to catch the new storylines, and Demo-era mods likely no longer work.

A Supporter Edition bundles the base game with the official soundtrack ($24.98 bundle, $20.23 during launch pricing; the soundtrack alone is $4.99, discounted to $4.49). The store also lists bundle discounts if you own ReStory, Potion Craft, Backpack Battles, Graveyard Keeper 2 or TCG Card Shop Simulator.
System requirements (PC)
Straight from the store listing — the recommended block adds nothing beyond the 64-bit note:
| Component | Minimum |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10, 64-bit |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 or equivalent |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | GTX 650 Ti equivalent or higher |
| DirectX | Version 10 |
| Storage | 1 GB available space |
The game is pixel art at a native 16:9 aspect ratio. Patch 1.0.0.5 improved non-16:9 support: borderless fullscreen for ultrawide monitors, native resolutions in the dropdown while fullscreen, and a frame-rate cap that follows your monitor's refresh rate.
Platforms: Windows only, and the mobile bootlegs
The Steam platform flags show Windows only — no Mac and no Linux builds, and the listing's feature set has no controller-support flag: it ships a Mouse Only Option, Adjustable Text Size and Playable Without Timed Input instead. The community-run probablystolenwiki.com reads that missing flag as the direct answer to the controller and Steam Deck questions players keep asking. Nothing in the sources this site used announces PS5, Xbox, Switch or any console version.
The mobile situation is different: within hours of launch, players documented bootleg copies of the game on Google Play — one thread names "AKO LTD GAMES", and another player counted three separate listings and judged them likely the same operator. These are community reports, not an official statement, but there is no official mobile version: any "Probably Stolen" app store listing is not the real game.
Content rating and languages
The store's mature-content note covers depictions of drug and alcohol abuse plus crimes including racketeering, bribery and trading illegal items. The interface and subtitles ship in eight languages: English, German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish and Polish. Single-player only, with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
How it launched: the numbers
- 200,000 copies in the first few hours, 86,000+ peak concurrent players within 90 minutes, #2 in global top sellers (developer, launch day).
- 350,000+ copies in 24 hours, 320,000+ unique players, 112,000+ peak concurrents, a top-12 most-played finish on day one (developer).
- 500,000 units by October 30, with 96% positive across nearly 3,000 Steam reviews (developer).
- 164,471 peak concurrent players on November 3 (SteamDB), and #3 in SteamDB's global top-sellers list for launch week.
- Over 100,000 playtesters and 500,000 wishlists before launch (developer).
What's coming after launch
The developer says 1.0 is not the end of development: free regular content updates are planned, including the Junker, Organ Trader and Street Food Vendor starting scenarios, Expeditions where you recruit people to send out on runs, new appraisal items, and main-storyline expansion that affects both the station and how your story ends. Dates have not been announced.
