The short answers: Probably Stolen is out now on Windows PC, has no known redeem codes, no demo anymore, no Mac/Linux/console version — and yes, you can keep playing after you buy the store. These are the questions players actually search and ask in the Steam discussions; every answer cites the store listing, a developer announcement or a named guide, read on 2026-11-03.
Are there Probably Stolen codes?
None are known. Probably Stolen is a paid, single-player game, and no source this site used describes any redemption system — there is no in-game shop, no redeem field beyond the Commissary's token and lottery buttons, and no code giveaways from the developer. The 10% launch discount (ending November 11) is a store offer, not a code. Any site offering "Probably Stolen codes" for free copies is not an official source — especially given the bootleg copies that appeared on mobile stores within hours of launch.
Is there a demo?
There was — free from September 14, 2026 — but it was retired when 1.0 launched on October 28. Demo saves carry over, though the developer strongly recommends starting fresh for the new storylines, and mods built for the Demo probably won't work with the full game.
What platforms is it on? What about Mac, console, mobile or Steam Deck?
- Windows PC only, via Steam. The platform flags show no Mac and no Linux builds.
- Console: no PS5, Xbox, Switch or other console version appears in any source this site used, and none has been announced.
- Mobile: there is no official mobile version. The Google Play listings players found after launch are community-documented bootlegs, one reportedly under the publisher name "AKO LTD GAMES".
- Steam Deck / controllers: the store page's feature flags include a Mouse Only Option but no controller support, which the community-run probablystolenwiki.com reads as the direct answer to the Steam Deck question.
How much does it cost?
$19.99 in the US, €19.99 in the EU, £16.99 in the UK, with a 10% launch discount to $17.99 / €17.99 / £15.29 that the store says ends November 11, 2026. A Supporter Edition bundles the official soundtrack. The full regional table is in the release, platforms and PC specs guide.
Is it worth $20?
That was debated in the Steam discussions on day one — one player called the price too high for an indie shopkeeper sim, while others answered with their playtime and the launch numbers: 500,000 copies in three days, 96% positive reviews, #2 in Steam's global top sellers on launch day, a top-12 most-played finish on day one, and #3 in SteamDB's global top-sellers list for launch week.
How do you win, and can you keep playing afterwards?
Buy the store. Either purchase the deed from the Landlord on a rent day (from 12,000 credits at Mark Up) or pay off the Loan Shark's mortgage. Both Buyout endings show a stats screen — most profitable sale, days survived, total worth, perks — and offer Continue, which returns you to the now rent-free store. After a loss, Continue is not offered. The endings guide maps all the loss triggers too.
How many endings are there?
Sources disagree: Wikily documents 15; India Times counts 17 by adding Assassinated (Upper Levels reputation at -100) and No Permit. Two endings are wins; the rest are losses, and three of them share the Bombed title with different triggers.
Is there multiplayer or co-op?
No. The store listing is explicit: single-player. (Community guides carry multiplayer tags only as Steam's category filters, not as features.)
Does the game support mods?
Yes — Steam Workshop support, a modding API and mod localization support all shipped with 1.0, and the developer counted "several dozens of mods" on the Workshop within hours of launch. One caveat from patch 1.0.0.6 (October 31): a modding security update may break existing mods until their authors update them.
What are Augs?
People taken over by a rogue sentient AI chip. They look like everyone else until they don't; every faction agrees on the policy of dealing with them, and you carry the gun. IGN's tip is to act on confirmed Augs on sight, and the Aug Menace starting perk turns them into a permanent threat. The factions guide covers the mechanics.
Who are Lou, Eleanor and the other named characters?
The 1.0 release notes name completed storylines for Lou (the Black Market mastermind with a 1,500-credit bounty), Eleanor, Officer Lun and cadet Serpico, plus expanded backstories for wanted-list characters including Butcher. Lou's arc — the toy box, the bomb, the final demand — is laid out in the endings guide.
What languages is it in?
Interface and subtitles: English, German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish and Polish. Steam lists full audio for English.
